Basket: Loggins out for another three weeks

Veteran LEROY LOGGINS will have to wait until next year to make his 500th National
Basketball League appearance for the Brisbane Bullets.

Tests today revealed the 42-year-old had internal bleeding in his left ankle and he'll
be out of action another three weeks.

LOGGINS hoped to make his landmark 500th appearance for the Bullets against Canberra
two weeks ago but he was injured in game 499 against Wollongong.

The Bullets hope LOGGINS can return for the January 5 home match against the Sydney Kings.
