NSW:Boy missing in Sydney's southwest

SYDNEY, April 9 AAP - A seven-year-old boy has gone missing in Sydney's southwest.

Dylan English was last seen wandering from his home on Whitfield Street at Hammondville
towards a nearby bush reserve at about 4pm (AEST) on Saturday.

Police say the boy is autistic and there are concerns for his welfare.

Officers from Liverpool Local Area Command are now coordinating a search of the area
using SES volunteers and other police resources.

Dylan is described as Caucasian and has brown hair and is only wearing black shorts.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact triple zero immediately.
